So glad we purchased this dishwasher as we were remodeling. The former dishwasher was also a Whirlpool, & even though it was several years old, it was still a “work horse.
MacFearless –
This is our third Whirlpool dishwasher that we have installed in our house since 1994. The previous two had the utensils basket in the door feature.

I slowly opened my new “Whirlpool” diswasher door like amystery movie charter peaking in to see the usual nightmare of broken and twisted wires that will hold my precious dishes and high polished.
Nygooch –
I bought this dishwasher as a replacement for a similar model that had broken. The old washer had the internal pump break after 18 months and in trying to fix that I broke it to the point where.
Mrs. Moose –
This is seriously the best dishwasher I have ever owned. I am surprised every time I open the door. I can’t thank my husband enough for buying this for me.

Owned this for a month. What I like: cleans dishes very well; low water consumptionCons: Realizing this is a basic machine, here’s what you might want to know: Don’t like the silverware basket.

I purposely bought a another whirlpool simply for the silverware basket in the front. I think that makes a lot of sense, and that was not a choice in most brands.
Schwaz –
I have always bought Whirlpool products, so when our dishwasher broke we bought this model. Right from the start we had problems5 hour run cyclewouldn’t clean anythingeverything was.

I’ve had this dishwasher a couple weeks now and run several loads though, and love it. It’s relatively quiet (much quieter than my old dishwashers, and very quiet for what I expected from something.

I bought this in early February, as part of a kitchen remodeling but I didn’t install it until late March. I’ve used it maybe three times since then and I am, so far, very impressed.
singingsarah –
The top rack is great, with plenty of room for glasses, etc. The bottom rack also has plenty of space, and I like the ability to move the silverware drawer around to fit in different places.

We are only two people in our houshold so the smaller size of this dishwasher is a good thing for us. It is quieter than expected as the rating has it as being a louder machine.
shwinstead –
The dishes do come out clean. I use the heavy wash cycle because of heavily stained tea mugs. I am disappointed in the design of the top rack.
Monsieur Kirby –
This dishwasher has a tray on the door for utensils. It’s a cool feature, because it provides more room for dishes.

After several months of use the whirlpool dishwasher has been excellent at cleaning even tough messes will come clean so long as I am mindful of positioning the dish/pot so the jets are getting.

I have been very satisfied with this dishwasher overall. Like all my Whirlpool appliances, it does a consistent, reliable good job. Purchased this dishwasher roughly a month ago (Jan 2016).

We’ve only had it for 2 weeks now and I love it. As a family of 4 who loves to cook I can get most of the dishes done in one load which took two in our old one.

I received this dishwasher as part of my home package when I closed on my house a month ago. Frankly the handle is a terrible look.

We liked the modern design and flexibility of multiple spots that can hold the utensil basket. The dishwasher washes well but we have noticed it does not dry the dishes much.

Does a great job of cleaning and drying dishes – as long as you use the drying agent. Great visual indicator that shows level of drying agent. Very quiet.

I have yet to have the dishwasher clean properly and I’ve had it a month. Sometimes it seemed like it would run right and water would come out and sometimes not. Also the soap wasn’t dissolving.

This was installed with our new house and our friends have the same one. It cleaned some items that had stained for years by tea and other drinks.
