Perfect – This is a great humidifier. I didn’t want one that uses heat/steam because they are too costly to run and I didn’t want one that vaporizes room temperature water either (you end up with a puddle.

Bought it, showed up 1 week early. Way to go Lowes. Keeps the humidity level right where I want it. Holds a lot of water. Pretty much run it on high all day long and refill it once a day.

It was working great for 30 days. Then the fan appeared to overheat. Now fan only generates heat and does not work at all. Poor quality. A shame because the simple design worked.

Minimal impact for 2700 sf. – Minimal impact for a 2700 sf home. Running on high, house increased a maximum of 10% humidity from 25% to 35%. Fan is relatively quiet on low setting. Medium setting has an annoying motor hum.

Assembly is easy. Filled unit with 6 gals of water – I set the unit for 40% humidity. Then on the slow fan (F1) setting it used about 2 gals after 16 hours. Humidity went from 35% to 38%.

Very good – Very quiet, turns on and off as needed. I can feel the moisture level. My skin is not itching anymore. The colder it is outside will determine how often you have to refill it.
