Product Information
I must have gotten a D4 lemon. I have several issues. It fell off the drop into the shower, which it claims it has a sensor to prevent, so I create a no go line, but it still fell into shower. It doesn't clean all of the rooms that are on the created floor plan. Thanks to the map I know that. Several times I started it & it would run a couple of minutes & return to dock, no cleaning, but fully charged. I start it today & it says clear path & there is nothing in front of it. I could continue, but enough already. I had an early model which worked better, but died about 2 years 1 month with battery issues. I had already replaced the battery once at about 13 months.
- LaserSmart mapping and navigating for more thorough cleaning - great on hardwood, tile and carpet
- Exclusive D-shape design and large core brush finds dirt where it hides, in corners and along walls
- Set virtual no-go lines around places you want your robot to avoid like pet bowls or pile of toys.

Great machine – Initially had some connection issues but they seemed to have resolved. Both my wife and I have the app on our phones and can access all the features with no problems.
Rigit –
I have had the D4 for several months now and love it. It gets under areas I cannot reach with a regular vacuum. It has never gotten stuck nor has it not made it back to the docking station.

Horrible – I bought this over a month ago and it’s simply the worst botvac I’ve ever had. It NEVER connects to the internet and I spend more time troubleshooting the botvac than it spends time cleaning.

Awesome smart vac – After extensive research I narrowed my focus on the Neato brand. I purchased this through bestbuy during a promotion.

The BEST Robotic Vacuum Available! – So I’m a little crazy and purchased the Neato along with the Roomba 690 and while the Roomba did the job the Neato BLEW AWAY the competition! The suction power difference is very noticable.
Angietherobot –
I have used two other brands of robot vacuums, and I think the No-Go Lines are a real game changer. I love not having to use the wireless walls my old robot came with to keep the vacuum out.
Heidi –
I’m not sure if it’s the concept or this robot vac that doesn’t work for me. But it’s been more work than just pulling out the vacuum.
R2D4mom –
We bought our Neato a month ago and so far we love it. The features are perfect for our needs, including the pet hair brush and the charge until the job is done.
RusstyB –
Best vacuum ever! My kids actually purchased this for me as a Christmas present never knew what I was missing! This vacuum is awesome, it was easy to set up and program. It does a great job.

Worse than my old BV65 – Most of this review is going to be a comparison between this new D6 and my old, budget (even back then) BV65. On the improvements: – On Turbo, it does clean marginally better – The Li-ion battery.
vacbot dude –
I bought this vacuum about a month ago and run it everyday. when it works correctly it’s an incredible vacuum, but that seems to be 30 to 40% if the time.

Winning the pet hair battle thanks to Neato! – Hesitated to pull the trigger on this purchase but glad I did. The D6 has exceeded my expectations over the last few weeks of ownership.
Steveridemyjetski, –
Far superior to iRobot! – Decided that we wanted a robot vacuum so we bought an iRobot Roomba. We were very disappointed in not only its vacuum quality but also it’s robotics.

Works great and picks up well – I’ve had my Neato D4 for several weeks now and love it. I am a vacuumaholic and this has really helped me. I got mine on sale for$299.00 at Best buy. It is a great product at a great price.

Less stress for me! Awesome product! – I had an older d series and just upgraded to the d4 connected. Wow, what an upgrade! Such a stress reliever that I dont have to vacuum constantly to get all the pet hair & kids dirty shoe leftovers.

Pros: – Cleans well – Always finds dock to recharge – Post cleaning map shows what’s been cleaned – Cleans intelligently and efficiently – Continues to clean where it left off after recharge.Cons:.

I bought this vacuum over a month ago and I have used it daily since bringing it home! This is great for moms who have too many things in the day to do. I set Neato to automatically start cleaning.
Username54 –
This is my second Neato, the first being non-robotic, and this is definitely the worst thing I could have bought. Never had a problem with my other one. This one goes 5 ft. and stops.
Stevon87 –
I just set this up in my house and it cleans both my areas rugs and floors really well. I watched it clean the living room and it was good to see it covered every inch available too it starting.

We’ve had the D4 for about a month. After two cleanings, it went offline for about a week. We tried different things suggested on the website with no luck.

Out performs but… – The D4 I have definitely out performs the Roomba I had prior of the same price class. No hard bumps into furniture, walls or people. I feel it cleans better and the connectivity is fairly stable.

So far…love it. – Bought my little robot about 2 months ago. After a few rounds of getting to know it and setting the floor plan features and no-go lines, I now can comfortably and confidently let it run and.

Much better than d5 – Replaced my d5 with this one under warranty and it is way better and has gotten stuck maybe once in a month and I run it every day!.

Very frustrating – I did research on various robotic vacuums and decided on this one based on very positive reviews. We are actually thinking about returning it now that we have used it for a couple weeks.

Typically, you have to open your wallet wide to get a robot vacuum with mapping and other advanced capabilities. But Neato’s Botvac D4 Connected, currently $400, brings the favorite features.

My new best friend – I love this little guy. Does a great job cleaning dog hair & can seemingly get over any obstacle. The trash bin gets pretty full fairly quickly.

Love it – We have 4 dogs and a cat, our whole house is tile, and it works well. We have had a Shark and Roomba, what’s sets this apart for the same price is the floor plan feature, allowing u to see.
